Many in the Body of Christ feel the need, as a lifestyle, to live in disguise. We wear “church faces”. We “fake it until we make it.”
Some…many in this season, it seems, cannot seem to do that anymore.
It’s a good thing.
There is a holy hunger being birthed deep within many in our midst. It’s a hunger for reality.
What follows is a word the Lord gave me tonight for a young lady that is seeing reality more and more clearly by the will of God.
She is pursuing truth and reality. She is pursuing Jesus in a new way.
She has graciously released me to share this on FaceBook as I believe there are others who may also benefit from it.
From the Lord:
It’s exciting and confusing and scary and real.
Disguises are fake.
Church faces are fake.
Fake it until you make it...is ...well..fake.
Jesus is REAL.
We're related to Him now. We need to be real.
Once you experience the freedom of being real you'll love it so much.
You’ll never want to go back.
When we feel the need to be fake...it’s because we are threatened.
The fake we choose to portray is chosen because we think we can use it to protect ourselves - but it takes control...imposes itself on us....it constricts us.
It becomes a self-generated python...that squeezes the life out of us.
Standing in STARK contrast....is the Lord Jesus.
He has no fear. He has faith….He is faith…………FULL.
We have Him...dwelling deep within us...in our spirits.
We are full of Him......full of faith.
“Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” (2 Corinthians 3:17)
You are turning to Him. Not for salvation – you already have that.
You are turning to Him for freedom.
“Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.” (2 Corinthians 3:16)
As you turn to Him more and more consistently….the veil is lifted.
You see things as they truly are...more and more.
This is what the term "the mind of Christ" really means:
His viewpoint. Reality.
Receive that. Live that. Enjoy real freedom in Christ to be…in Him.
