dependency upon God through strong biblical teaching that addresses
several arenas: |

| Personal Pastoring and
Mentoring Enjoying and practicing one-on-one relationships with individuals and couples as set up specifically by the Lord. It is though such personal interaction, spending time with one another and sharing our lives, that we can truly know one another and best hear what the Lord has to say to us as He guides us in our individual sanctification processes. This is the heart of true Biblical fellowship and it is through this kind of sharing that the Great Shepherd is able to effectively nurture His sheep through yielded pastoral hearts. We minister pastorally to individuals, couples and families locally and in other parts of the USA, as directed by the Lord to establish the pastoral relationship. For more information on this, see Pastor Mike’s article: “The Pastoral Relationship”. |

| Teaching Mike McInerney Ministries has developed and presented a conference: Union With Christ. The conference gives a strong background in how the Fall of Man has led to modern day walking “after the flesh,” how this affects us personally and what Jesus has done to free us of flesh patterns. Attendees are given practical ways to walk in the Spirit so that we may enjoy the freedom for which Jesus paid so dearly. Briefly put, in every area of our ministry we encourage people to cultivate a radical dependence upon the Lord Jesus Christ in every arena of their lives and that is what the conference is really all about. Although Pastor Mike teaches and preaches in pulpits or classrooms when invited to do so, we often practice what we sometimes call “table ministry”, addressing needs as they become evident. “Table ministry” is Holy Spirit led people meeting in kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms, meeting rooms and restaurants – sharing their hearts and watching Jesus heal, restore and fill souls. I believe this is part of what Jesus was referring to when He said,“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do” (John 14:12). The intimacy of this style seems to result in a deeper receiving of the teachings and longer lasting retention of what is taught. |

| Gatherings At home in Decatur, TX we typically host two “Gatherings” per month, year round. The word “gathering” is a literal rendering of the Greek word “ekklesia” that is normally translated as “church”. We use it because we open our meetings to the entire body of Christ regardless of the institutional “churches” represented by attendees. By doing so we hope to connect parts of Christ’s body locally that normally don’t get a chance to know one another, since they belong to different congregations all of which hold their services simultaneously. We have seen God bless many people through one another as we attempt to release ourselves to the Lord to do what Paul spoke of in 1 Corinthians 14:26 ”… Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.” We also conduct occasional gatherings in Houston and St. Louis when invited to do so. If you know we will be in your area and would like to host a gathering there, contact us and we will be glad to present one of these “home group meetings on steroids” in your home. |

| Counseling Over the years we have ministered God’s counsel over the phone and over the internet but we believe that God’s best for us more often involves face-to-face contact. Nothing will ever replace the intimacy of human contact. We have a small counseling center in Decatur, TX that will be named “The Safe Place” as it grows. We typically counsel 10-20 people per week and know that if we had a counseling staff and a larger facility we would be able to see many more. All our counseling stresses total dependency upon Jesus, allowing us to more fully realize all the blessings of His Lordship in our lives. We expect and depend upon the Holy Sprit to lead us in our counseling and trust that as this happens those who allow Him to heal them will someday fulfill the truth found in 2 Corinthians 1:3- 4 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” In other words, we believe that many who are healed and restored through ministry are supposed to go on to lead others to healing and restoration. |

| Travel Pastor Mike travels to Houston, St. Louis and Kansas City frequently to spend time with the people that he pastors in those places. These visits can last anywhere from a day or two to a week. In addition, he takes longer trips as directed by the Lord and often meets in person with people he has met through his online ministry. These meetings have resulted in long term relationships as well as opportunities to minister in homes, churches, prisons and nursing homes all over the United States. If you would like for him to minister in your home or church, please email him and let him know. Perhaps the Lord is sending him your way soon! |

| Prison
Ministry After many years of jail chaplaincy and evangelistic prison ministry trips the Lord has had us focus more on individual relationships in which deep personal sharing and ministry occurs. We still write and visit many prisoners as led by the Lord to do so. Pastor Mike is also available to address your church, Sunday School class and men’s or women’s groups regarding the vital ministry that Jesus does through Christians in prisons and jails. Matthew 25:36b “I was in prison and you came to Me.” Even though our ministry focuses on the many different types of prisons we can find ourselves in, such as drugs, depression, fear, sin, etc. (“remember the prisoners as if chained with them; those who are mistreated” - Hebrews 13: 3a) there is still a lot that could be done to minister to those children, men and women trapped in real concrete and steel prisons. |
